LA Times Festival of Books

If your a book lover or better yet if your little ones are – mark your calendar- This one is a must the 2008 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books — Saturday & Sunday, April 26 and 27 — is an event with something for book lovers of all interests and ages.

You can browse among more than 300 booksellers, publishers and book-related exhibitors showcasing every type of literary work — from classics to comics.

Bring the kids and explore two fun-filled children’s areas offering storytelling, crafts, costumed characters and lots more activities for the entire family.

The Festival of Books takes place on the UCLA Campus on Saturday, April 26, 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, April 27, 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is free. Parking is $8.

    I’ve always wanted to do this. Even when I lived in LA, I didn’t do this…shame on me. It seems like it’d be a great family outing.
