If you’re looking to do something out of the ordinary, you might want to take a drive to Huntington Beach for the US Open of Surfing. My son loves watching the surfers at the beach and I figure this might give us something to do this weekend. From what I’ve read it’s a fun and lively event with plenty of waves, surf and entertainment. There will be concerts, fashion shows , skateboarding and BMX competitions. It is ALOT of fun. but very ver very crowded. You need to be there at like 7:00 to park. And no I am not kidding! Resturants are packed so bring snacks…..and walking shoes. There are always extra vendors and activities to walk thru- and there are always give aways by surf sponsors too. Maybe I will see you there!
