A little-known attraction in the San Diego area is the Carlsbad Flower Fields. They are easy to spot as you travel along the San Diego freeway. These fifty acres of flowers have been blooming in the hills above the Pacific Ocean for around fifty years. Visitors can walk the fields or take an open-air tractor ride through the flowers.
Prices: $9.00 for Adults, $8.00 for Seniors 60+, $5.00 for Children 3 – 10, Children 2 and under are Free Wagon Rides: $4.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Children 3 – 10.

To get there fomfrom Los Angeles and Orange County: Head south on Interstate 5 to Palomar Airport Road exit. Head east (left turn) on Palomar Airport Road to Paseo Del Norte and turn left. Make an immediate right into parking lot.
