Did you know that tomorrow is Coastal Cleanup Day? The California Coastal Commision invites you and your family to join them at one of dozens of locations throughout Southern California and help clean our local beaches.
There are two ways of participating. You can pre-register here or drop in at one of these locations in Orange County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County. The clean up will be from 9 am to noon. Waivers are required to participate. This is the perfect thing to do with older children and teenagers!
If you are looking for something to do with your family that is FREE and absolutely fun, look no further! The Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting Shark Lagoon Nights, every Friday night, from 6pm to 9pm.
The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers as well as rays in the Aquarium’s Shark Lagoon. There will also be live entertainment and fun for the entire family.
This is the perfect outing for a fun Friday night. For additional information head on over here
