If you are looking for something fun to do this Saturday night, Grab your blanket, beach chair and picnic and head over to the Great Park’s “Movie on the Lawn.” Admission and parking are free. Where the Wild Things Are will play on Saturday, March 27th at 7:30 p.m
Movie on the Lawn” is presented as part of “Chess at the Park,” a 3-day free public event at the Great Park centered on the State Scholastic Chess Championships.On Saturday and Sunday afternoon, park visitors will be encouraged to watch, learn, and experience the exciting game of chess. With the assistance of chess aficionados, beginners can take lessons or test their skills in an open play area; while more advanced players can participate in an informal tournament or compete against a chess expert who will play multiple opponents all at the same time. Activities include kid’s crafts, sports activities, chess games and more.
