Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a special event sponsored by Sauza Tequila called Ladies Night in LA. We had a great time learning how to make some great appetizers, drinks and main dishes from Chef Marcela, host of the Food Network’s, Mexican Made Easy. Chef Marcela cooked up some great dishes and shared some amazing and simple recipes for the holiday season.

I also wanted to share my absolute favorite dish from the evening.  Tequila Lime Shrimp. I do not drink and  actually surprised to learn that the alcohol cooks out of dishes but leaves behind a great flavor. It’s a great appetizer for your holiday parties.
