Kidseum Open House: Free Admission and more

My kiddos having a blast at the Bowers Kidseum

Happy Sunday! This weekend just flew by for us. It always seems like the weekend goes by in a blink of an eye, especially as summer comes to an end.  I know the week hasn’t even started yet, but I wanted to share a fun event coming up next week that is going to be a blast for the kiddos and also for the entire family.

On Sunday, August 21st, The Bowers Kidseum will host an open house and offer free admission to the public from 10am to 4pm.

The open house will let you learn more about the museum’s  birthday parties, school tours, storytelling, scout classes, archaeological digs, educator workshops, outreach programs and summer camps. You will also be able to make an art project and there will also be face painting.

We’ve visited a few times with the kiddos and we love this fantastic place. The kiddos spent about an hour playing with the costumes and the exhibit and another hour making one of two different crafts.

The open house will also feature refreshments, storytelling, archaeological digs and tours. It is going to be a fantastic day and if you have been wanting to visit this great museum for free, this is your chance! Bring the entire family and have a great and free day.
