My kiddos love anything electronic. They are attached to my iPad at the hip and love playing games, or watching movies on it for what seems hours. They have just recently started to use my laptop and our home computer. They love whenever I find their favorite sites on the web like PBS Kids and Disney.

The Internet can be a scary place for kids and both of my kiddos can use the web only if I’m watching over them.  I never let either one browse unattended ever. It’s a scary place and this mom has watched one too many Dateline episodes.

I have been in search of a parent control app or software and when I was given the opportunity to try Fooz Kids out, I jumped at the opportunity. What is Fooz Kids? It’s a downloadable application that  that is geared for kids 3 to 8. Fooz Kids allows your kiddos to play a variety games , watch videos, create crafts or browse the web. My daughter loved checking out the Disney site and discovering what is new with her favorite princess while my son browsed PBS Kids. The app gives kids the opportunity to browse the net in a controlled environment with content designed for them. It is so comforting to know that I can leave the room and my kiddos will be safe while watching their favorite video or exploring the Internet. .

It is very simple to use and install. You download the application (one time fee of $11.99) and you set what your kids can have access too. I have two kiddos and was able to personalize content  for each one based on what I know they like and dislike. The kiddos can  also create their own avatar and make their page their very own. The kids love it and most importantly mom and dad have peace of mind!
