I can’t believe we are well into September and that means only one thing, fall is around the corner and so is Halloween! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons and I think hands down Halloween is the funnest holiday. I love creating traditions for our family and heading to Irvine Park Railroad to pick a pumpkin and participate in the fun activities has now become a Halloween tradition for our family.
This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include: Train rides, hay rides, a haunted house, a hay maze, pony rides, a moon bounce, carnival games, John Deere tractor racers, face painting, panning for gold,picture stands, great food and The Orange County Zoo.
There are plenty of places for photo opportunities and the pumpkin patch has great size pumpkins at a pretty reasonable price. We usually head there twice during the season.
We always have a great time riding the tractors, getting our faces painted, jumping in the bounce house and of course picking pumpkins.
Admission to the pumpkin patch is free as well as touring the Haunted House, Hay Maze and dozens of cute picture stands.
The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch opens next Saturday, the 17th and runs until Halloween Day. The patch will be open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm on weekends.

We love the Irvine Park Railroad. We are so excited to take our kids (3 and 1) to the pumpkin patch this year and experience all the fun attractions.
I really need to have some family time on an outing. I work fulltime and am in school at night. My kids are busy with activities. If I win we will make this a priority.

Every Halloween we celebrate my husbands birthday which happens to be on Halloween! I take our 3 kids to our local Pumpkin Patch and we get him pumpkins to carve. I’d like us to go this year so we can all do it TOGETHER

We have never been to the Irvine Pumpkin Patch but have heard lots of good things about it. Looking at the pictutes from there, I know my kids would have a great time. We love going to new places and what a perfect way to kick off Halloween time with the kiddos!
My son is almost two and loves trains!! We take a drive almost everyday by a nearby railroad track and wait for a train! He repeats “choooo, choooo” over and over. We would love to visit Irvine Park Railroad!!!

We love the fall and what better way to kick it off with a trip to a pumpkin patch. My 6 year old twin boys love to choose the most unusual pumpkin. It will be more fun this year, too, because they have a new baby brother. The train ride, games and hay ride will top off the day!

We visited Irvine Park for the first time this spring and LOVED it. My two children had such a great time at the zoo, riding the train and just running around. We would love to go back for the Pumpkin Patch!

The last time we went to Irvine Park and Pumpkin Patch was for my son’s first-grade field trip. It was so fun. We loved picking out our own pumpkins and riding around in the pickup truck.
Looks like fun. We have never been. My two and four year olds would loveit!
We just moved back to CA from WA and Autumn is beautiful in WA. I must prove to my kids that CA does indeed have pumpkin patches too!!

We were invited to a Birthday Party at this park and seen the set up! wow! our first time being there and it’s really only 20 minutes away! My three little ones Noah, Cameron, Tristan enjoyed their first train ride and pony ride! I so want to go back to have fun with them along with my camera to capture fall photos! We love the pumpkin patch, last year we had our photographer come with us to take pictures of our little one and we will be back this year with our newest addition to take pictures of both our 2 year old and 2 month old. We love all the picture opportunities and my 2 year old loves the train and jump things now. Great place to have fun with the family.
