Last week I had the opportunity to attend with my family a food preview of the LA County Fair and let’s just say we were in Fair Food Heaven! We literally tried the tastiest food the Fair has to offer. From Gluten Free Tasti Chips to deep fried cookie dough(SO GOOD!!!) the LA County Fair has something for everyone!
One of my favorite treats was hands down the Pineapple Express. It’s a bed of rice, topped with shrimp and served in a pineapple. It was delicious and makes me want to head back for more!

You have to make sure you check out the LA County Fair. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and make some memories with the family. In addition to the yummy food, you will find the traditional LA County Fair entertainment and demonstrations, including concerts, carnival rides, competitions, live animals and so much more.
The LA County Fair will run until September 30th and is open Wednesday through Sunday. To learn about the different promotions offered head here.

We haven’t gone in the last 4 years, it’s just too expensive for us right now. We have two boys, Jacob, who’s 13, and Corey, who’s 10. I know they would love to go, it would be a great surprise for them. They know we can’t go because of finances, but they still ask every time a commercial comes on.

I am looking forward taking my little one for the first time to the Fair I am sure he would LOVE the animals and hubby and I would love the to try some of the food.

The one thing I would LOVE to look forward to is the look of excitement in my handsome lil boys eyes. He’s 3 yrs old….this would be his 1st time. I can’t wait to experience things I did at his age….with him. He’s finally at the age where he comprehends and absorbs everything we do. I would be super stoked for him to have this opportunity š

When we can afford to go, what we love to do is go to the exhibits, all the kids play areas and animal farms, love to explore new products, listen to the free concerts and get the kids on the rides. Love to see their faces full of joy and excitement.

Everything!!!! First and foremost – eating my way through the whole fair- Fried avacados, Aussie fries- wine tasting and learning about some of the best this year- Carolina Barbeque …… and more. Shopping expert- need aloe cream, mink oil, the latest, greatest for mopping floors and more!!!! Seeing the exhibits always- and the best petting zoo ever… having something cold and people watching because by now I can’t walk :)…..pick me, pick me!

I would love the tickets we couldn’t afford it last year. My kids look foward to the animals, watching the cows be milked and the pig races. Tomorrow is my daughters 5th birthday this would be a great surprise š

My kids and I have never been to the L.A county fair, I always tell them next year and that year has not come by, being a single mom is not easy and school just started and i was not even able to get them new school clothes. I always hear wonderful things, rides, great food, but I guess if I cannot afford to go in, I will not be able to afford to buy them anything once we are inside.
