I think I’ve shared that we recently moved and I love discovering our new area. We were out for a drive when we stumbled on to Mission San Luis Rey(I will be posting a more in depth look later this month). It is the largest of the California Missions although not as well knows as it’s closest neighbor in San Juan Capistrano. Our five minute stop turned to an hour long visit. It was a teachable moment in which history came to life. There is nothing quite like learning hands on!
