Temecula Children’s Museum: Pennypickle’s Workshop

Discovering and Learning!

Last month our family had the opportunity to check out the Temecula Children’s Museum, also known as Pennypickle’s Workshop. This fantastic children’s museum is located in Old Town Temecula and is well worth the drive. We happened to visit on the Smithsonian Museum and the museum was buzzing with activity.

Ready for some experimentation!

Pennypickle’s Workshop is located in the heart of Old Town Temecula and is truly a gem. My kiddos(so were my husband and I)were in love from the moment they stepped foot inside. This 7500 square foot facility allows a child’s imagine to run wild.

The workshop is packed to the brim with hands-on everything! From experiments to gadgets, there is nothing that is hands off. Your kiddos can touch and learn from almost everything around them. Nothing is off limits!

Having fun exploring with Dad

The kiddos bounced from room to room, trying to absorb it all. My husband and I kept telling each other, how much we would have loved to visit a place like Pennypickle’s back when we were both kids. Pennypickle’s Museum is that kind of place. It brings out the child in you and makes you want to learn all about the world around you.

My daughter having a great time

I love that the kiddos not only had the time of their life, they learned while they played. We learned about earthquakes, volcanos, and other scientific concepts. The best part is that all these concepts were learned through playing!

We had the time of our lives and we can’t wait to go back. We’re planning on buying a membership so that we can visit often.

Pennypickle’s Workshop is located at
42081 Main Street
Old Town Temecula, CA 92590

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is only $5 a person. For additional information and to learn about the museum head here.
