Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train and Giveaway

With the chill in the air and November half way gone, Christmas is right around the corner and that means one of my families favorite traditions is also right around the corner.

The Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train opens it’s door on Friday, November 30th and runs  to December 23rd.

This will be the 5th year in a row that we have made our way up to the Irvine Park Railroad Christmas train to visit Santa and participate in all of the fun activities. We bring our extended family, a thermos filled with hot chocolate, treats and take the train to meet Santa and take pictures.

We usually head to the  park early to partake in the many fun activities including cookie decorating and Santa’s Bounce House.  The kiddos love cheesing around the different photo stations and also love storytime with Mrs. Claus. There are quite a few fun activities that are free of charge for the family. If you get there early you can usually  avoid waiting in line. This year like last year you can purchase your tickets in advance online for a specific time and avoid waiting in line.  You can purchase your tickets by clicking here.

It’s giveaway time

We’re giving away a family pack of tickets to Irvine Park Railroad’s Christmas Train. Good luck! Giveaway ends on November 20th at 11:59pm. Winner will be selected at random.

I love Christmas because its always a blast to watch the kids be fascinated & awed by the magic of the lights, tree, Santa and the entire family coming together. I just love the memories those things create.

What I love most about Christmas is the family time & togetherness our holiday traditions cultivate. Cookie baking/ decorating, looking at Christmas lights, family dinners, and reflecting on why we celebrate, our Savior’s birth.
