Wordless Wednesday: New Traditions, A Kids’ Tree

Decorating their own very Christmas tree to their heart's content!

I love creating traditions for our family, especially during the holidays. This year, we decided to put up two Christmas trees. The one in our entryway, became our formal tree, and is decorated with matching glass ornaments, a fancy velvet tree skirt and then a very eclectic kids tree.

The kids went wild decorating their tree to their hearts content. I took them to the dollar tree and let them go crazy. They bought tinsel, garland, ornaments and candy canes to create their masterpiece. They had such a great time decorating and it was very inexpensive to deck out their tree. I found a cheap tree skirt at Target and they also made their own ornaments. I can’t tell you how excited they were to decorate it  and how proud they are of their very special “kids tree”.

I love this Sears Outfit!

What would you do if you won a $5,000 shopping spree? I know what I would do, I would completely revamp my wardrobe from top to bottom. I think sometimes as moms we put ourselves last and our kiddos are the ones that get the new outfits and mom does not. It would be like a What would you wear episode! I think I need everything from shoes, to dresses to purses. I bet that many of you are probably like me, and know exactly what you would do with a $5,000 shopping spree. You can visit Sears for more everyday fashion inspiration
