My husband and I on our way to our 14th Valentine Outing. We had our first Valentine lunch, while the kiddos were at school. It was perfect and yes cheesy piropos may have been used.

Last week my husband Mike and I, celebrated our 14th Valentine’s Day together. Wow, it sounds like a lot of years, once I see it written.  We met in Argentina, when we were both serving a mission for our church sixteen years ago. I Love the man! He never really used a cheesy pick-up line or piropo(pick-up line in Spanish) since we were first friends but I’ve heard some pretty cheesy ones and some pretty good ones. The best ones have been in Spanish. I always say you haven’t lived until you’ve been called a mamacita, and not because you’re actually a mother! HA!

One of my all time favorite piropos, goes a little something like this…

Como quisiera que estuvieras en mi frutero,
mango podrido, por que ya te pasaste de bueno.

it basically says, I wish you were in my fruit basket, you extremely ripe mango, because you are past good! Doesn’t really translate well into English, but trust me it is hilarious!

As you can probably guess from my photo, I love to smile. I think feeling confident and having a good smile goes a long way. It helped me when I was single, slimmer and cuter, to shoot back some pretty funny piropos! Having a healthy and good looking smile, helps me feel like positive and like I can conquer the day!

I’m a little bit obsessed with my oral hygiene, partly because my sister in law Katie, is a dental hygienist and always reminds us to keep good oral health and party because I’m vain and want my smile to look as best as it can. I use Crest products, including their Crest Complete toothpaste for a deep clean, fresh flavor, whitening power, or all three in one tube. Crest Complete offers an array of oral care products to leave you feeling fresh and ready for every moment of your day.

So tell me, what’s the best or cheesiest piropo you’ve ever heard?
