Since we are on the subjects of trains and since Easter is right around the corner, you have to check out the Bunny Train at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. WE love the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. It is a gem and a definite must visit in So Cal!

The Easter Bunny Train will take place this weekend, March 23rd and 24th. This special event is a fundraiser for the museum and features Easter Basket decoration, treasure hunts for eggs, bunny hop sock, and of course train and trolly rides. You will ride real life sized trains and restored trollies. I’m telling you, the kiddos will love it!

To learn more about the museum head here.

Win it! We’re giving away a family four pack of admissions/tickets. All you have to do is leave a comment letting me know of your favorite Easter Traditions. That’s it! It’s a quick giveaway. Giveaway ends tomorrow, March 20th at 11:59pm. Winner will be selected at random. Good luck!

Sorry…just saw the part of listing our favorite Easter tradition. I would have to say that we are still establishing new traditions, but Easter Mass is the highlight.

    Love holiday activities!!
We always leave an egg on the door step with a note and jelly beans inside. The note reads to plant the jelly beans and watch what happens….the kids love seeing lollypops on Easter morning. And going to church to put the flowers in the cross is always a big tradition for our family.

Getting the family together – we all bring our already decorated and filled eggs and do a BIG hunt for all the kids, big or little! Our family continues to grow so we are never short on lil ones 🙂

Our tradition is to go to an Easter egg hunt the day before.. Then on Easter, have a yummy breakfast, church and have my small family who is only one set of grandparents to be with us and our two boys.. We have a fun lunch and hide eggs for our now 3 yr old and 1 yr old.. Its wonderful seeing our boys growing up!

  9. Tiffany says:

Easter egg hunt has been our Easter tradition. Kids enjoy searching for the eggs and eating the treats. We have started doing eggs decoration two years ago and plan to continue doing it.

My kids are still little but we of course go to church, do an Easter Egg hunt, and eat lunch with family. However our church is making Easter weekend become a service weekend where we help fix and clean up our local elementary school that has lost a lot of funding. Cannot wait for that to be our tradition and to have my two little boys learn that Easter is more than candy-filled eggs but loving other people and putting that love into action. 🙂

Our favorite tradition is the Easter egg hunt after church. We switch off letting the boys do the hiding. I also love getting out boys (4 of them so this giveaway is perfect for us!) matching ties along with my husband.

Our Easter Tradition was taken away from us, SO I decided that after normal Easter morning activities, every year we would go somewhere BIG for fun! This year we are going to Midieval Times! Somewhere my little ones haven’t been & whats better than dinner & a show with the ones you love? My 5 guys cannot wait…

  16. Tanya low says:

We always hide the kids Easter baskets that are filled with new swim suits and water toys and they have to find them Easter morning!

  17. Brooke says:

The Easter Bunny always leaves a basket with goodies and one small toy in the kitchen on Easter morning. We move on to dyed Easter egg hunts in the backyard afterwards. Of course, church is a must. We have so much to be thankful for.
