Helping Kiddos Have a #HungerFreeSummer

Hunger-Free-Summer

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post with The Motherhood and ConAgra Foods.  However, all opinions are my own and I love the #HungerFreeSummer initiative.

Earlier this month I shared about  ConAgra Foods Hunger- Free Summer with Feeding America. I shared about some of the ways that you could take part of this initiative and make sure that children in America do not go hungry this Summer. One of the easiest things to do is help share the video below. It takes less than a minute and each time you share, like, or view this video, the ConAgra Foods Foundation will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America, up to two million meals.¹

It’s an easy way to help spread the word and help kiddos have a Hunger Free Summer. It is an issue that is very dear to my heart and our family has decided to do something about it. Every week when head grocery shopping we add extra groceries to our cart. It’s not much, about $10 each week.  Earlier this week we had enough extra groceries to drop a small load off at our local food pantry. It was easy and something that I plan on doing each week. My daughter shares below how we do it.

You can learn more about the initiative here.
