I grew up watching soccer (futbol) every Sunday. My papa is an avid futbol fan and there was always some game on our tv set every Sunday. We are all true soccer fans and now I get to pass on my enthusiasm to my own children.

My son started playing soccer and he absolutely loves it.  He loves playing goalie and is counting down the days until soccer season happens again. With the kids and I out of school this summer we have enjoyed watching many of the futbol games during the past two weeks. We’re cheering for the Red, White, and Blue. We’re also cheering for el Tri color team. It’s been fun to be able to scream in excitement and shout back at the tv when things don’t go “our” way.

PampersMiEquipoMiHerencia

Pampers is bringing together our love of futbol soccer and our families by creating the Mi Equipo Mi Herencia Facebook Stadium App, found on the Pampers Latino Facebook page. Through July 15th, parents are encouraged to log on to the Pampers Latino Facebook page to celebrate their love of country and their favorite sport by participating in the “Mi Equipo, Mi Herencia”  app and sweepstakes.  Moms and Dads can upload and customize photos of their little fan in the Pampers Virtual Stadium, generating a shareable meme that friends, family and other fútbol fans will love. I created the photo above and sent it off to my mom and dad. They thought it was adorable!!!  Not only will you have one very cute photo, but you will also be entered to win a year supply of Pampers diapers and wipes!

Legoland Water Park

Fun at Legoland!

Fun at Legoland!

To celebrate the official start of Summer Vacay, we packed a big bag and headed down to the Legoland Water Park. We’ve had annual passes for over a year now, but because my son broke his arm last Summer, this was the first time heading to the Water Park. We were not disappointed! The Legoland Water Park is so much fun and here’s why.

Two super excited kiddos!

Two super excited kiddos!

The park is divided into two main sections, the water park, and the new Chima Water Park. My son couldn’t contain himself. I thought he was literally going to pass out from excitement.  He is obsessed with Legos and he was in Heaven! It really is a kid’s dream land. The Water Park is located inside of Legoland. You can enjoy a day at Legoland and once you’re ready to cool off, you can pay an additional fee to get into the park, or… you can purchase an annual pass and enjoy Legoland, Legoland Aquarium, and the Legoland Water Park. We have an Merlin Annual Membership and we LOVE it! We really get plenty of use out of our passes.

The park is very clean and there are lifeguards everywhere you turn. I can’t really relax when the kids are near water, and I was definitely able to relax on our visit. There are plenty of areas to play in and also relax and to eat, we recommend to take branded bottled water with your names or a fun design for the kids to make the experience more special and fun. There are plenty of places for the kiddos to play their hearts out and have fun. There are two large slides, a tidal wave area, water tables, a beach, splash pad, and of course one awesome lazy river. I loved that there were plenty of rafts, a very organized shoe cubby, and it wasn’t crowded. I could have spent all day lounging around the lazy river.  My kids have not stopped talking about our visit and we have decided to head over at least once a week during the summer.

I lounged around this beach area.

I know that if you have itty bitty kiddos, heading to the water park can be a little tough. Well not at Legoland. If you have younger kiddos, this is definitely the place for you. There are several toddler area splash pads, “water slides”, and even a toddler lazy river.  It looked like everyone was having a blast.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kiddos, I would definitely recommend a day at Legoland. Pack a bag, bring some snacks, lunch, towels, goggles, and have some fun!

Making Summer Memories – #DisneyJuniorFamilia

Pirate Time!

Pirate Time!

Disclosure: This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Disney Junior. However, all opinions expressed are my own

This summer is all about making memories with my family. It seems like just yesterday my kiddos were toddlers, and in the blink of an eye, they are about to enter second and fourth grade. I cherish the memories of my childhood summers. I had a blast. My sisters and I would wake up as soon as the sun would rise, eat breakfast, and head out for a day of fun with our friends. We would play outside all day long. I think we would come in for food/water/restroom breaks, and that was it. We were dressing up, riding bikes, playing in our blow up pool, in the sprinkles and making some pretty cool memories. I want to make sure that my kiddos make some great Summer Memories and here is my plan.

We love Disney and my kiddos (my son especially), loves to watch Disney Junior on Disney Channel. We’ve been inspired by many of the kids’ favorite cartoon shows. My son loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates and we’re making sure to do some pretend play every day.

I want to make sure we head out on adventures and visiting some Magical places is definitely on the agenda.  Summer is not Summer for our family without a visit to Disneyland. We can’t wait to head over for a day of adventure, meeting our favorite characters, riding our favorite attractions, and soaking in all of the magic that Disneyland has to offer.

I’ve been sharing some of the fun memories we’ve made so far this summer, and you can join in on our last few days. You can join other Disney Junior Fans and submit some Disney Junior inspired photos. You can submit your photos via the Disney Junior Facebook App and your photo could be shared on Disney Junior! That would be pretty darn cool! You can follow along on Twitter/Instagram by following the #DisneyJuniorFamily hashtag.
