This is a fun week for movies. All the cable channels are playing scary movies in heavy rotation. We picked a few of our favorite family friendly ones currently playing on Netflix.
The puppy Buddies investigate spooks at a haunted mansion. This film is best suited for younger children but still fun for everyone.
Casper the Friendly Ghost decides to toughen up and attends Scare School, where he finds things are not what they seem. Casper is timeless.

Scared Shreckless and three other short featuring Dreamworks characters. They are sure to chill your spine while tickling your funny bone!
Visit Halloweentown with Jack Skellington for the Halloween/Christmas classic. It has fun songs and fantastic animation.
What are some of your favorite family Halloween films?
It’s got to be Ghostbusters for this family. My son loves watching it but Netflix did away with it so I ended up buying it on iTunes last weekend so we can enjoy it during the month of October or any other time if we so choose. 🙂
