SoCal Spring Break Fun Ideas

The Del Mar Farmers Market is a must visit!

The Del Mar Farmers Market is a must visit!

We have one more day of work/school and then we are off for two weeks. Over the next couple of days we’ll be posting some great ideas for activities that won’t break the bank.  Here are some great places to go for little $! All you need is a tank of gas, some parking and food and you are ready to roll! Have fun!

While on the move, eat Honey Maid GoBites #ThisIsWholesome #Paid

This is part of a sponsored campaign with Being Latino and Honey Maid. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

We are a busy family with one kids busy with baseball three times a week and another with running club and soccer practice. We seems to only slow down on Sundays and even that day usually ends up pretty busy for us.  While fast food can often seem like the easiest option, it is far better for everyone when we can prepare ahead of time and pack some good snacks.  Honey Maid Go Bites feature 5 grams of protein per serving, which means they are a better source of energy than your typical sugar filled treat.  These are fantastic to pack into baggies and take along all of your Spring Break activities in these coming weeks!

With vanilla and chocolate flavor, these snacks will please even the pickiest snackers.

These little snacks provide the protein and 7 grams of whole grains with a delicious taste that helps fuel our on-the-go family. We have seen them available at Vons, Albertsons and even Walmart.  Your location grocery is sure to stock them as well near the the Honey Maid graham crackers.  I’m not exaggerating when I say my kiddos really enjoy these Go Bites. My daughter prefers the vanilla flavor and my son would have eaten the entire box of chocolate flavor if I had not made him save some for later!
