We’re always looking for fun things to do with our family. We also love when we can save money on our outings. If you’re looking for a family friendly event where kids can get in free, we have one for you. On April 23 and 24th, Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will take place in Lake Elsinore at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park.

This off road extravaganza offers fun for the entire family and the best part is that you can go to a Wahoo’s Fish Taco restaurant for free kids’ admission tickets to the event (12 years old and under). We’ve had a busy couple of weeks and I can’t wait to head with my family for a day out watching some racing.

Spring is Here! The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival #BoysenberryFestival

One of the best times to visit Knott’s is here again, the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, is back for a second year in a row and you definitely want to visit! We had the opportunity to visit the first  ever Boysenberry Festival last year and couldn’t wait to attend this year. The Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival is taking place from March 19 to April 3 and you don’t want to miss it!

The 16-day food festival features countless, one-of-a-kind boysenberry inspired dishes, drinks and more, plus live entertainment, the Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden, and fun the whole family will love! From sun up to sun down, the festival features dueling fiddlers, Peanuts Party in the Park, vine dancing, Jammin’ in the Dark (a nighttime dance party), live music, and other live entertainment. The best part is that admission to the Boysenberry is included with admission.

If you’ve been thinking about visiting, especially during Spring Break, you should! I’m still dreaming of all the delicious things I ate. To make sure you get a taste of everything, take advantage of the tasting card. For $25 you can really get a taste of the festival. It’s a great deal and you really are able to experience all that the Boysenberry Festival has to offer.

We had the opportunity to try Boysenberry ribs, meatballs, wings, alligator bites, and of course, dessert! It’s the perfect way to celebrate Spring Break. You want to make sure to get out to the farm and check it out for yourself. If you are looking for something to do with the family during break, this is it!

If you’re on Twitter or Instagram make sure to check out the #BoysenberryFestival hashtag to see what the Festival is all about. For additional info or to purchase tickets head here.
