Mickey’s Halloween Party is one super fun party!!

Disclosure: This is not a compensated post. Tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party were provided for review purposes. However, all opinions are my own.

Each year, we look forward to the fun of trick or treating around Disneyland during Mickey’s Halloween Party.  This year the party is bigger and better than ever.  We had the opportunity to attend night one of  the party and had the absolute time of our lives.

It’s a party like no else. I think one of my favorite things to do is to trick or treat throughout Disneyland Park. There are 10 trick or treat trails to take your kiddies to, with choices of candy or healthy snacks at each one. I love that the kiddos can get candy and yummie healthy treats. The trails are organized and the lines movie quickly. Your kiddos will want to hit each of the 10 trails.

I do have to say that although I love every aspect of Mickey’s Halloween Party, my absolute favorite part is the Halloween Screams firework show, which is only available during Mickey’s Halloween Party. It is my favorite firework show at Disneyland. Yes, I think I love it even more than the Christmas firework show. It is magical!

A Firework Show like no other!

One thing we all look forward to during Mickey’s Halloween Party and during Halloween Party at the Disneyland Resort is all of yummie seasonal treats. This year there are so many tasty treats to choose from. We had the opportunity to try most of these delish treats and I can’t wait to go back for more!

Almost too cute to eat, almost..

Our advise is to arrive early! You are allowed to enter the park as early as 4:00 pm, even though the event doesn’t start until 6:00 or 7:00 pm, depending on the night you attend.  If you’re planning to eat dinner in the park, we suggest you eat during those early hours before the event truly begins.  This was you can spend those remaining hours to experience all the Halloween fun.  Additionally, there are some great seasonal menu items available at certain restaurants as well as treats in the Candy Palace. Our must have treat this time of the year is the pumpkin fudge. It always sells out fast, so try to see if there is any available as soon as you arrive inside the park. If they run out at the Candy Palace, check out the Pooh Corner Bakery in Critter Country, as they carry it too.

Yummie!

Yummy!

Be sure to catch Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade! The parade is fun to watch and happens shortly after the Fireworks show. I love watching my kids watch the parade. There is something so magical about Disney parades, and Mickey’s Costume Cavalcade is definitely magical!

You can't miss the parade!

No visit to Disneyland during Halloween Time can be complete without a visit to Haunted Mansion Holiday. There are  fast passes available for the ride. Another tip is to head over there first when you arrive in the park. Grab Fast Passes for later in the evening and then jump in line right after after getting the Fast Passes. This way you can experience it twice without much of a wait.

They were very tired but very happy!

We had a great time and stayed until closing time. I captured this shot on the way out of the park. I bought the kiddos a hot chocolate and they sat for a bit taking it all in. They were two very tired, but very happy kiddos.

Halloween Time at Disneyland

Fall is here again and that means Halloween Time at Disneyland.  That park has been decorated for Halloween with dozens of jack-o-lanterns on Main Street, Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square and the frighteningly fun Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.  The decorations last through Halloween and create a fun atmosphere at the park.

Halloween Time also means tis the season for Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland.  We had a chance to experience it last Friday night.  In addition to the Halloween Time events, Mickey’s Halloween Party also featured Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade with all your Disney favorites dressed in their Halloween costume.  The parade also included some rarely seen characters such as the Country Bears, Clarabelle the Cow and even Miss Piggy!

The party also allows for trick or treating at treat stations located all around the park.  There was all kinds of fun candy as well as healthy treats for the kiddos.  Additional entertainment can be found around the park, such as Goofy at Pirate Palooza in Frontierland and Buzz Lightyear at Tomorrowland Terrace.  Halloween Screams fireworks are held only during the Party,  at 9:30 pm.

The remaining dates for Mickey’s Halloween Party are:  October 3, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 & 31.  For more info and ticket information, visit here.

Halloween Roundup : Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland

I love this time year and all the fun that Halloween brings. This week I will be featuring all of the local Halloween treats that you do not want to miss! I wanted to kick off our week with Mickey’s Halloween Party.

I had the opportunity to take the family to Mickey’s Halloween Party this past Friday night and let me just say that we had a fantastic time! This year Mickey’s Halloween Party moved from Disney California Adventure to Disneyland. At first, I almost couldn’t believe that this fun party could get any better but guess what? It did!

Real Live Scarecrows

Disneyland will host Mickey’s Halloween Party every Tuesday and Friday in addition to Halloween Night. It is the one Halloween Event that you do not want to miss. Let me tell you why: First and foremost for the kiddos are the trick or treat stations. They are everywhere! My kiddos were in candy heaven (don’t worry there are healthy treats at most stations). My favorite part of Mickey’s Halloween Party is the special fireworks show.  It is in my opinion the best fireworks show of the year and you can only watch it during Mickey’s Halloween Party. My kids love the dance stations. They are fun for the entire family and the live entertainment will have you dancing the night away.

This year you can also enter the park, three hours before the party begins, allowing for plenty of time to explore the attractions. Mickey’s Halloween Party is also host to two very fun parades. I have to say that my absolute favorite part of the entire night is that the Halloween Party feels exclusive. Because there is a limited number of tickets, it really feels like a private party and that means little to no wait on most rides. There are not that many people around and you are able to enjoy all of the rides without much of a wait. After the fireworks show, we were able to just walk up and ride Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Pirates of the Caribbean. We could have done much more but we were tired from all of the dancing and trick or treating.

Dancing away at Club Skellington

Mickey’s Halloween Party has become a tradition for our family and we look forward to it each  year. This was our 4th year in a row and in my opinion the best one yet.
