Free in October Round Up – San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, Museums, Aquariums, and Much Much More!

Can you believe the weekend is over? It seemed to go by in an instant! October is here and that means that Kids Free in San Diego is here. I shared earlier that October is the time to visit San Diego with kiddos and here is why:

The San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, will both offer free admission to kids during the entire month of October. You can bring in as many kiddos as you want. We had the opportunity to head down South last year with friends that have 5 little ones in their family. All 5 kiddos under 12 got in for Free. It is an amazing deal!
The San Diego Museum Council will offer Free Admission to 40+ museums/attractions. They include :
- Birch Aquarium
- Air and Space Museum
- The New Children’s Museum
- San Diego Botanic Garden
- Fleet Science Center
- USS Midway
- Many, Many More! (Kiddos age 12 and under receive free admission with paid adult-limit 2)

Children Get in Free to the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park in October

School is back in session for many of us. I returned back to work early this month and my kiddos returned the week after. With September already around the corner, I wanted to share about a deal you don’t want to miss in October.

During the month of October, all kids are free (12 and under, at both the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The San Diego Zoo, is home to 3,700 rare and endangered birds, mammals and reptiles, and the 1,800-acre San Diego Zoo Safari Park, which is now home to the Tull Family Tiger Trails, features a new forested habitat for the Safari Park’s Sumatran tigers with up-close views of the critically endangered species.

We always take advantage of this great deal. We’ve planned days out with our friends and love heading down to San Diego in October. The weather is perfect and the zoo is not crowded. It’s the best time to visit! Plus how can you beat free. Last year a friend took her 4 kiddos and only had to pay for her own admission. Trust me, plan for a visit in October.

Kids Free in October in San Diego: Let the Kidvasion Begin!

Last month I shared about the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s Kids Free in October. It is a crazy amazing deal and it is my favorite time to visit San Diego. The crowds are gone, the weather is perfect, and you can treat your family to some amazing adventures, without breaking the bank.

If you’re planning a weekend down in San Diego, make sure to take advantage of the San Diego Museum Council’s Free Admission. From October 1st to October 31st, children 12 and under receive Free Admission with 1 paid adult(2 free children’s admission with one paid adult). There are close to 40 participating museums, including the ones at Balboa Park.
