Pasadena Symphony’s Musical Circus

Exploring the world of music and instruments is an exciting journey, especially when choosing the perfect instrument for oneself. Just like the kids at the Pasadena Symphony’s Musical Circus, who get to experience a “petting zoo” of orchestra instruments, individuals of all ages can embark on a similar adventure. When selecting an instrument, factors like personal preferences, musical genre, and budget come into play. For aspiring guitarists, options abound, including acoustic electric guitars under 300, which offer the best of both worlds in terms of versatility and affordability. With a range of models and styles available, aspiring musicians can explore different guitar options, feel the instruments in their hands, and discover the one that resonates with their musical aspirations. Whether it’s classical, folk, or any other genre, finding the perfect instrument can ignite a lifelong passion for music and open the door to endless possibilities.

If you read my page on a regular basis then you are probably well aware that I’m always on the lookout for fun and free things to do with my kids. I found something that is not only fun and free but also educational. The Pasadena Symphony offers a monthly FREE program designed for kids 10 and under. The Musical Circus begins at 8:30 am with a musical “petting zoo” of orchestra instruments. The kids are able to touch tables full of every instrument imaginable. The “petting zoo” is followed by a concert that is geared for the little ones. The concerts range from classical to folk music. The concerts are usually held on Monday mornings at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium
