I think if you have read this blog for some time you  know that I am a Cirque du Soleil fanatic. I enjoy every single one of their shows and try to catch a show every time they come to town(or our semi-permanent show in LA Iris) or whenever I have the opportunity to head up to Las Vegas. Watching a Cirque du Soleil show is an experience like no other. Prepare to be wowed!

Cirque du Soleil brings one of their most family friendly shows, OVO to the Santa Monica Pier under the  Grand Chapiteau (Big Top). With the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop, OVO is a show like no other. I had the opportunity to catch the show last week and the show delighted both young and old. It is one that the entire family will enjoy.

OVO takes us into the magical world of insects. We are introduced to a world that is colorful, fun and that anyone would love to be a part of.  The  community is turned a bit upside down when a brand new egg makes a mysterious appearance. The show explores the cycle of life  and features aerialists, tightrope walking, acrobatics, incredible music and so much more.

OVO will play at the Santa Monica Pier under the big top until March 20th. If you are looking for the perfect Cirque show to introduce to your kiddos to this would definitely be the right show.  It is an experience like no other and one that is sure to create incredible memories.
