TechTots Classes at Microsoft Store

I know this might sound weird since it’s only the end of February, but I’m already planning for summer. Last year my daughter really really wanted to attend the Apple Store Film Camp and we had no luck securing a spot. This year, I’ve already signed up to be notified when registration begins, because she REALLY wants to attend the free camp. As I was looking around for something similar at the Microsoft Store, I stumbled upon TechTots Classes.

These super cool and free classes are offered at Microsoft Stores across the nation. Your store will become a hands-on, interactive playground where children ages 2-5 will learn by doing — and parents can learn tech tips and discover the latest in technology. Classes are usually an hour long.

There are a variety of TechTots Classes including TechTots Dance, Pets, Mystery, Safety, Safari, Carnival and much much more. To find a class near you head here.

Disney Sunday: Additional Hours in Disney California Adventure Park on Thursday Nights

I shared earlier last month, that it pays to be a Disney Annual Passholders, with early admission on select weekends this year. Here is another perk, just for passholders that you do not want to miss out on!

On Thursday nights throughout February 2013, Annual Passholders have the opportunity to stay late in Disney California Adventure Park.The park will stay open for an additional 2 hours after regular closing for Passholders to explore most attractions, stores and dining locations in Disney California Adventure Park.

Details:

Check-in begins at 12:00 noon on the day of the event only, and must be completed in person.Wristbands are required for access to attractions during Annual Passholder Extended Hours.Wristbands are valid only for that day’s event and are subject to availability. Passholders with wristbands may enter the event until thirty (30) minutes prior to the end of the event.

Wristband Distribution

From 12:00 noon to the start of the event:
Wristbands will be distributed inside the Main Entrance of Disney California Adventure Park to the right of the turnstiles.
Once the event has begun:
Wristbands will be distributed at the Main Entrance turnstiles to Disney California Adventure Park.

Lakeshore Learning Center: Free Science Fair

I have certain blogs that I follow religiously and one of them is my buddy, Julie’s Blog, AngryJulieMonday. You have to check her out. She’s funny, crafty and posts great tutorials. She posted about Lakeshore Learning Center’s Free Science Fair and I just had to share.

This Saturday, January 19th, from 11am to 3pm, you can head over to your local participating Lakeshore Learning Center and take part of their Science Fair. The Fair will feature Free hands on experiments for the kiddos and more.
