One of my family’s favorite traditions is grabbing our coats and heading to Irvine Park Railroad to ride the Christmas train to visit Santa. Our Santa pictures for the past few years have come from our train ride to the North Pole. We’ve done this since our kiddos were itty bitty and it is something we look forward to every single year. We love bundling up and making it a special night.
You’ll hop aboard the train for a fun ride to the “North Pole”, where you will be able to meet Santa and take pictures. Make sure to remember to bring your camera, to capture your little ones with Santa.
We usually head to the park early to partake in the many fun activities, which include, cookie decorating, ice fishing, and story time with Mrs. Clause. We usually head there early to try to avoid waiting in line. This year like last year you can purchase your tickets in advance online for a specific time and avoid a long wait. The Christmas Train will run from November 27th to December 23rd.
