Have crafty kids? Looking for something fun to do with the kiddos that is both Fun and Free? Our newest contributor Robert (So excited to have a DAD on board !!!) will be sharing the dad perspective and shares about his experience crafting at Lakeshore Learning Centers.
Crafting and engaging in activities with children not only provides entertainment but also nurtures their creativity and cognitive development. However, as parents, we also recognize the importance of preparing our children for the future and equipping them with the necessary skills. This is where perform a skills gap analysis can be beneficial. By identifying the areas where our children may need additional support or development, we can ensure they receive the right guidance and resources to thrive. It’s about finding a balance between the joy of hands-on learning and the integration of innovative learning solutions.
Lets face it, sometimes it is hard to keep our kids entertained and occupied without spending a bundle of money.  It’s also extremely hard to entertain them with something that is also offers enrichment.   That’s why I am  grateful that  Lakeshore Learning Center Stores, host a  FREE kids crafts and story time every Saturday from 11am to 3pm.

My 5-year-old daughters favorite activity is to have someone read to her.  She also loves doing crafts as long as it involves lots of coloring, glue and paints.  If she is able to make to make a mess while she makes a craft, then that is all the better in her mind.  On our recent visit to Lakeshore Learning Center in Fountain Valley my daughter giggled through the Dr. Seuss story that they read to the kids, then she was engrossed in making some type of craft that was tied in to the Dr. Seuss story that was shared.  I am not sure exactly what the craft was that she made, but whatever it was she sure was proud of it and that is all that matters.  One thing for sure is that she was sad when it was time to leave.  Truth be told I broke a parenting commandment and sort of bribed her to leave by telling her that we would be sure to return again next Saturday.  For more information on upcoming craft and story times head here.
