Legoland Water Park

Fun at Legoland!

Fun at Legoland!

To celebrate the official start of Summer Vacay, we packed a big bag and headed down to the Legoland Water Park. We’ve had annual passes for over a year now, but because my son broke his arm last Summer, this was the first time heading to the Water Park. We were not disappointed! The Legoland Water Park is so much fun and here’s why.

Two super excited kiddos!

The park is divided into two main sections, the water park, and the new Chima Water Park. My son couldn’t contain himself. I thought he was literally going to pass out from excitement.  He is obsessed with Legos and he was in Heaven! It really is a kid’s dream land. The Water Park is located inside of Legoland. You can enjoy a day at Legoland and once you’re ready to cool off, you can pay an additional fee to get into the park, or… you can purchase an annual pass and enjoy Legoland, Legoland Aquarium, and the Legoland Water Park. We have an Merlin Annual Membership and we LOVE it! We really get plenty of use out of our passes.

The park is very clean and there are lifeguards everywhere you turn. I can’t really relax when the kids are near water, and I was definitely able to relax on our visit. There are plenty of areas to play in and also relax and to eat, we recommend to take branded bottled water with your names or a fun design for the kids to make the experience more special and fun. There are plenty of places for the kiddos to play their hearts out and have fun. There are two large slides, a tidal wave area, water tables, a beach, splash pad, and of course one awesome lazy river. I loved that there were plenty of rafts, a very organized shoe cubby, and it wasn’t crowded. I could have spent all day lounging around the lazy river.  My kids have not stopped talking about our visit and we have decided to head over at least once a week during the summer.

I lounged around this beach area.

I know that if you have itty bitty kiddos, heading to the water park can be a little tough. Well not at Legoland. If you have younger kiddos, this is definitely the place for you. There are several toddler area splash pads, “water slides”, and even a toddler lazy river.  It looked like everyone was having a blast.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kiddos, I would definitely recommend a day at Legoland. Pack a bag, bring some snacks, lunch, towels, goggles, and have some fun!

Halloween Roundup : Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND

brickortreat

Can you believe we are more than halfway through September? Eeek!!!!  I can’t stop smiling because I absolutely LOVE the fall and Halloween. It is such a fun time of the year! We have developed some traditions as a family, and attending Brick-or-Treat at the LEGOLAND resort, has become a Halloween tradition.  It’s a wonderful time of the year to visit the park, and the kiddos have a blast trick or treating at candy/treat stations.

There is a trick-or-treat trail with 10 stations. There is also  live entertainment, dancing, a costume contest, and fireworks. We honestly have had such a blast every single time we’ve attended. The kids dance their hearts out. It’s so much fun to watch little kids dance the night away. Brick-or-Treat will take place every Friday and Saturday night in October.

Admission to Brick-or-Treat is included in the price of admission, or you can purchase an evening pass for $30. It is honestly a great time to visit. The weather is perfect(almost chilly!) and the crowds are long gone!! To learn more about LEGOLAND’s Brick-or-Treat head here.

Bricks Family Restaurant

We shared two weeks ago about our fantastic time at the LEGOLAND Hotel. We had a fantastic time, and we are counting down until we can head there again. Tonight I wanted to share about our dining experience at the Bricks Lego Family Restaurant. If you have a special event coming up, perhaps your kiddo’s birthday, or you are heading to LEGOLAND and you would like to take the kiddos to a fun place after hitting the park, you have to take your family to the Bricks Family Restaurant.

The theming is found in every corner of this super fun restaurant!

Don’t expect a stuffy atmosphere or someone giving you the eye when the kiddos get a little rowdy, anything goes in this fun family atmosphere! As you sit and color in your very own table cover, you are surrounded by giant LEGO kitchen equipment, enormous LEGO dishes of foods and even LEGO spinning plates.

The food was so yummie, and the kiddos ate every last bite! Win, Win!

Not only was it a very fun experience, the food was absolutely delish! The restaurant  and menu has been created with children in mind so there’s a wide range of buffet options to suit every taste and age group! My kiddos loved trying many of the options, including the different salads. We were extremely pleased!!

The food is yummie, the atmosphere is relaxed, and best of all, the kiddos can meet some of their favorite LEGO characters! We loved every bit of our dining experience and can’t wait to do it again! It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! If you would like to learn about the Bricks Family Restaurant, make sure to head here. You’re going to LOVE it!
