Legoland Hotel Welcomes You!

We love the Legoland Resort, and as members, have enjoyed watching the hotel be built from the ground up. We were more than excited when we received an invite to check out the LEGOLAND Hotel two days before the hotel opened its doors tot he public. We were in for quite the treat!

Fun from the moment you walk in!

Fun from the moment you walk in!

From the moment you walk in, you are in for a treat! You can check-in and let the kiddos have fun playing on a pirate ship or climbing up a castle. The kids did not want to move from the lobby! Here is the scoop on this amazing hotel, it is a must visit and stay for families and here is why:

The three story, 250-room hotel is located right at the main entrance to LEGOLAND park. Guests at the hotel will enjoy exclusive early morning access to the theme park. I wish I could accurately describe the attention to detail at the hotel. Everywhere you turn, there is something fun for the kiddos and there is attention to details in every inch of the hotel. There are more than 3,500 LEGO models in the entire hotel.

I’m not a fan of elevators, but the elevators at the hotel are not to be missed. The Disco elevators are set to fun seventies music as a mirror ball rotates. The elevators seemed to be well-maintained, possibly by a service like https://lift-maintenance-repair.co.uk/. I’m telling you, every inch of the hotel is FUN!

Now on to the rooms! Ahhhhhmazing I tell ya!

The rooms were amazing and we had to drag the kids out of there!

The rooms were amazing and we had to drag the kids out of there!

You can choose from one of three themed rooms: Pirate, Adventure, or Kingdom. We choose the Pirate Room and it was a huge hit with the kiddos. Every single room, has a separate sleeping area for up to three children complete with bunk beds, a trundle bed and their own tv.

It was so nice to have the kiddos sleep in their own room and the adults have their own room. Plus how many hotel rooms can comfortably accommodate more than a family of four? Not many, but the LEGOLAND hotel, certainly does! Every room also includes a treasure chest that your kiddos can unlock once they complete a special treasure hunt activity finding clues throughout the room. I am completely honest, when I say the kiddos did not want to leave!

There is so much to share and I honestly can’t fit it all in one post. I will share in a second post about the activities, the restaurants, and all the new LEGOLAND hotel has to offer. Stay tuned!

Disclosure: This is not a compensated post. We received a complimentary night stay to check out the resort, however, I would stay again in a heartbeat! We plan on staying in June to help celebrate my daughter’s birthday and can’t wait!

Legoland’s Merlin Annual Pass

Santa Lego and the kiddos

This past Saturday the kiddos and I headed down to Carlsbad for a fun afternoon/evening of family fun. We love LEGOLAND and had been discussing about buying Legoland Annual Pass for sometime now and finally decided to take the plunge as an early Christmas present.

The kiddos are at the perfect age for Legoland and have a blast every single time we’ve made it out and have been wanting an annual pass for what seems like a very long time. We decided to go with the Legoland Merlin Annual Pass.

The Merlin Annual Pass gives you admission to the Legoland Resort, which includes LEGOLAND, SEALIFE aquarium and LEGOLAND water park. The annual pass also comes with free parking and a 20% dining discount and a 10% retail discount.

Our kids were smiling from ear to ear with their early Christmas gift!

You can purchase a Merlin Annual pass for $30 down and pay 13.89 a month for adults and $10 a month for kids. With each purchase you also get 1 guest pass and during the holiday season a $20 Gift Card to Legoland. It’s a great deal! For additional info head here.

Brick-or-Treat at the Legoland Resort

One of my favorite times of the year is here, Halloween. I love all of the fun celebrations, especially the non-spooky ones. One of my favorite places Halloween traditions is taking the kiddos to Legoland’s Brick-or-Treat. This festive Halloween celebration takes place every Saturday in October and is included in the price of general admission.

Legoland’s Brick-or-Treat celebration features

  • Seven LEGO-themed treat stations offer candy, healthy snacks and a few surprises along the way
  • Brick-or-Treat Trail Bonus station at SEA LIFE Carlsbad Aquarium
  • A Costume Contest with Winners receiving 4 Resort Membership Passes and a gift basket
  • Fireworks at 9pm
  • Hubble Bubble’s Dance Party with The Witchettes
  • Brickzini the Magnificant, Count Brickula, freakishly tall ghosts, The Pumpkin Queen and Silly Scarecrows
  • And much more!

Brick-or-Treat takes place every Saturday in October from 5pm to 9pm. We have tried to make it out every year and the kids have a blast! The after hours party is included free with general admission or you can purchase evening admission for only $30. Legoland is running a fantastic deal during Brick-or-Treat days. You can purchase  a Brick-or-Treat Hopper  for $59 which includes Full Day Admission to LEGOLAND and the SEALIFE Aquarium and a second ticket to come back any day before December 25th. If you have been wanting to take the family to Legoland, make sure to take advantage of this special deal.
