Growing it up we depended on the TV guide to find when our favorite shows would be airing. I recall waking up at 5:30 AM weekdays to catch Scooby Doo and then Inspector Gadget. Then we were blessed of the amazing era of the VCR and then DVR, where you could program the machine to record a show so that you could view it later. Now, we have amazing services like Netflix, where we can watch whatever we want to watch whenever we want to watch it.
Now that’s its summertime, our kids have a lot of freedom to binge watch their favorite shows, but I am honestly doing my best to balance their time. When I need mommy time, is when Netflix comes in very handy in our house. Is binging series programs a thing in your home?
Speaking of Inspector Gadget and binge watching, did you know that season 3 of the Netflix exclusive Inspector Gadget series just premiered?
Go Go Gadget Fun!

This Mother’s Day weekend, at a bookstore near you, Netflix is bringing Anne of Green Gables to life with the special launch of Anne with an E. This reimagined classic is sure to inspire children everywhere.
Saturday, May 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. Fans can get an Anne with an “E” gift bag, filled with Anne-inspired gifts and a 3-month complimentary subscription to Netflix (one per customer, while supplies last). There will also be fresh flowers and photo ops, perfect for the day before Mother’s Day at participating bookstores. SoCal bookstores participating are: Chevalier’s Books, Los Angeles and Deseret Books, San Diego, California.
Anne of Green Gables by Canadian author L. M. Montgomery was first published in 1908. In the book, Anne Shirley—a red-headed, mischievous orphan—is accidentally adopted by the siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. To date, the book has sold more than 50 million copies and has been translated into at least 36 languages. In fact, Mark Twain once described Anne Shirley as “the dearest and most lovable child in fiction since the immortal Alice.”
Netflix’s new incarnation of the spirited Anne Shirley will actually be older than her book counterpart when she comes to live with Marilla and Matthew, but not less spunky on the small screen than she was in the novel. Check out the preview below:

It is important for our kids to know about science and world around them. Imagination is needed but so is reason and reality. Bill Nye – the Emmy-nominated host, educator, engineer, and curator of curiosity – returns with a new show that tackles topics from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims. But the revelations are real, Bill reminds us, as he neutralizes falsehoods and boosts the truth: “It’s not magic– it’s science!” Each episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, which begins April 21st on Netflix, entertainingly and enthusiastically dives into a specific topic or concept through lively panel discussions, wide-ranging special correspondent reports and Bill’s very special blend of lab procedure and genuine persona. Equipped with inquisitiveness, chemical-resistant gloves, and his beloved bow ties, Bill’s a magnetic force that’s hard to resist.
During each episode, Bill is joined by a rotating group of special correspondents, including Model and Entrepreneur Karlie Kloss, Comedian Joanna Hausmann, Space Exploration Advocate Emily Calandrelli, Comedian Nazeem Hussain and Derek Muller from Veritasium. The array of special guests include: Joel McHale, Martin Starr, Heather McDonald, Alton Brown, Tim Gunn, Steve Aoki, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons and more. It’s available now on Netflix!
