Disclosure: This is part of a compensated campaign with Verizon Fios. However, all opinions are my own and I had a blast at Circus Vargas.
I promised myself a few years back that I wouldn’t attend another circus unless they were animal free. I’ve wanted to have the kiddos experience the circus and they have been asking about going to the circus for the last few months. I’ve shared in previous posts how Verizon Fios is a big part of our family’s entertainment. We listen to music channels, watch our favorite shows, and hold our movie nights in thanks to our Fios Subscription. They made a night out with the family to the Circus possible, and I will share later on how they can make your own customized entertainment experience a reality! First let me share all about the Circus!
If you grew up in Southern California, you probably remember the commercials, “See Circus Vargas! The Big One is Back! They are still around and better than ever with their animal-free circus experience! They are the largest family owned tent circus still touring these days and providing an unforgettable night of entertainment.
We caught them at Ontario Mills last week. They will be playing at the Chino fairgrounds this week, and moving on to Arcadia, Santa Ana, and Irvine in the upcoming
The big top played at the Ontario Mills Parking Lot and it was fantastic to not have to pay for parking. I like going out to shows and experiences with my family, but absolutely do not like having to dish out extra cash for parking. It’s never a fun experience. Many of Circus Vargas shows are in locations where you do not have to pay for parking. That already started our experience on the right foot.
The kiddos loved the show. There is a cool pre-show experience that allows the kiddos to get on the ring floor and try out their circus skills. They loved being able to hula their hearts out and also learned to balance feathers on their face. My daughter did such a great job that they picked her out as a “Guest Star of the Night”. She was in heaven!!! All of the kiddos looked like they were having a blast. The actual show was very entertaining and good old fashioned fun. There were trapeze artists, aerialists, contortionists, and so much more! We had a fantastic time and without feeling an ounce of guilt, because no animals were used in the show. We can’t wait to catch the show again. It was a dream come true for the kids.
