This past Friday, the kiddos and I spent a super fun afternoon at the Discovery Science Center. Spring Break is here and we have been trying to do something fun each day. Spring Break also means that Bubbefest is back at the Discovery Science Center. The Spring Break tradition is back and better than ever! Bubble artist Deni Yang, brings his unique show to Orange County. Bubblefest is a show like no other. The bubble extravaganza features a bubble carousel, bubbles within bubbles, smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles and bubbles in all shapes and sizes
The show also features a pretty cool festival area with water spheres, a bouncy play slide area, and other fun stuff! The kids had an absolute blast and my son just walked by, caught a glimpse of the post, and said “Mom, when can we go to Bubblefest again?”. He was one of the lucky kiddos that was chosen to be inside a bubble. I don’t think he will forget that anytime soon!
A visit to Bubblefest is not complete without some play time at the museum. The kiddos had a blast before and after the show. Our visit to the Cube and to Bubblefest will definitely go down as a highlight of our Spring Break!
Bubblefest tickets are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. A general admission ticket is required to attend the event. For additional info or to purchase tickets head here. Bubblefest will be at the Discovery Science Center until April 14th. You don’t want to miss it!
Disclosure: Discovery Science Center is a Daytrippingmom Sponsor.
There is one thing that will always make my kiddos smile from ear to ear, bubbles! When the weather is right we head to the park or our front yard and blow as many bubbles as we can. It’s fun and sometimes even our dogs join in on the fun.
Spring Break is right around the corner for most families and that means one of my favorite events will be back in town. The Discovery Science Center will once again host Bubblefest! This fantastic show featuring Bubble Scientist Deni Yang will take you take you into the world of bubbles! Yang’s world renowned show features bubbles of every shape and size and will keep your kiddos entertained for the duration of the show.
I’ve watched the show for the past four years and I can’t wait to head back again with the kiddos this weekend. The show will be at The Cube from March 31st to April 22nd. To purchase tickets and to learn more about this bubble extravaganza head here.
One of my favorite annual events is almost here. Bubblefest is celebrating it’s 15th year at the Discovery Science Center and it promises to be better than ever! The show returns from April 2nd to April 24th. If you have a little bubble fan this is one show you do not want to miss. We’ve seen the show two years and a row and my kiddos(well so did I) absolutely loved it! They were excited to be seated with other kids as most of the kiddos sit in on the floor in the front, to really be in the middle of all the action.
The Mega Bubble Show created by bubble master Fen Yang, features a bubble carousel, bubbles within bubbles, smoking bubbles, spinning bubbles, bouncing bubbles and bubbles in all shapes and sizes. The kiddos are memorized by the show. It’s almost like they are in a trance. I remember the first things my kiddos said when I asked them what they thought of the show was in unison, “mom when can we come back?”. It’s that kind of show.
Mega Bubble Show tickets must be purchased in addition to general admission ($7 for non-members, $5 for members). You can save $5.oo off a Super ticket with the coupon below. For additional information head here. Make sure to check it out! You will not be dissapointed.
