My daughter, my mother, my husband and I would love to go! We have not been to a family function together before and would love to go to the OC Zoo. My daughter loves all zoo animals in books and shows, but has never seen them up close. This would make a great memory for her and my family! Oh we would SO love to go. We have never been!! We passed by the museum on the way to the Bower’s Museum and thought what a fun place to visit!! We make home made gingerbread houses every year ( at home, using a kit ) it would be so cool to learn about gingerbread and view all the wonderful houses there!! What a great way to kick off the holiday season!

Toys for tots drive at Knott’s Berry Farm

I’ve been meaning to post about this for some time. Better late than never! Knott’s is currently holding their annual Toys for Tots drive. Knott’s Merry Farm and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve are teaming up to provide hundreds of toys for needy families until December 19th. You can either purchase a $15 gift from one of several merchandise locations in Knott’s Marketplace, and receive FREE admission to the park. . You can also choose to bring a new, unwrapped gift valued at $15 or more and you will be given a voucher to purchase a regular Knott’s Merry Farm admission for only $15

The winner of the Newport Landing family four pack of tickets is …

Amber who wrote….Among many other families I am sure this year..funds are just too slim to take my family to any xmas boat parade. We have two little girls (4 and 5) who would so enjoy something like this. They get excited and say mom mom look at the neighbors lights everytime someone puts up new lights in our neighboorhood but to see thousands would be memoriable for them for sure. Happy holidays
