Local Fire Stations Open House- National Fire Prevention Week 2011

Did you know that this week is National Fire Prevention Week?  It is and to help the community learn how to protect your family from fire, hundreds of fire stations across the country will be hosting open houses this Saturday, October 15th.

We had the opportunity to visit our local fire station’s open house last year and my two kiddos had a blast! They were able to take photos with the fireman, climb on the back of a fire truck and try on the gear. We had a great time and I can’t wait to take my kiddos again this Saturday.

Here is a list of participating fire stations in Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Have fun!
