Knott’s Spooky Farm – New for 2015

Calling all witches, ghosts, monsters, and superheroes! Grab your trick-or-treat bags and get ready for a treat the whole family will love – no tricks necessary.  “Knott’s Spooky Farm” is coming. This daytime, non-scare celebration, of cheer rather than fear, is the social event of the season with shows, activities and of course, a costume contest all geared for children ages 3-11. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes. This is a completely different event from the popular Knott’s Scary Farm event, held at nighttime.Knott's Spooky Farm

Kids can take part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party” and also visit the Camp Spooky Theatre to view “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown”, a new Halloween show where everyone will be singing and dancing in the aisles to all their favorite Halloween tunes.  Kids of all ages can join in the fun with spooky karaoke and mask making at the “Monster Masquerade Ball Karaoke” or go Trick-or-Treating at Ghost Town where friendly ghosts deliver delicious treats.  At the “Spooky Hollow Maze” kids will travel through a spooky forest with gigantic jack-o-lanterns and encounter a headless horseman!

Knott's Spooky Farm

Camp Spooky was always a blast and now this expanded park-wide event means even more fun for the whole family. Knott’s Spooky Farm runs weekends October 3 – Halloween Day, and is included with regular park admission. Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park operating hours are 10:00am to 5:30pm during October. Shake Month at Johnny Rocket’s

Did you know September is National Shake Month? Might I suggested making your way on over to the nearest Johnny Rockets and try their newest shakes, some of which debut today! We were invited over recently to try out some of these new shake creations. My kids loved each of these shakes and all the delicious burgers and fries served up to us. I did sneak a taste of these yummy new shakes.

Did you know that this is the largest Johnny Rockets anywhere?

One of the best things about Johnny Rockets’ shakes and malts is that they are hand-dipped and hand-spun, made with the finest USDA certified premium vanilla ice cream, whole milk, and real whipped cream. Here is a photo of the Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake that we sampled. It is made with real Reese’s Peanut Butter and topped with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Reese’s Pieces mini candies.

To celebrate the upcoming movie, “Goosebumps,” based on the beloved children’s series by R.L. Stine, Johnny Rockets created the Goosebumps Shake. The Goosebumps shake launches on September 21st at all Johnny Rockets restaurants (except special venues). It is made with premium vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk and mixed with Oreo pieces and topped with whipped cream, an Oreo garnish, and colorful gummy worms. This is just in time for Halloween.
