Free Admission at LACMA on Martin Luther King Day

I’m all about doing free things. I’m sure you all are too!! If you are looking for something to do on Monday to celebrate Dr. King’s birthday ,why not try a visit to the LACMA(Los Angeles County Museum of Art).

Thanks to a generous contribution from Target, visitors of all ages are invited to a free day at the museum featuring live performances, tours, and self-guided activities. The museum will be having special performances and family friendly activities. Make sure to check out the children’s special audio tour designed specifically with your little ones in mind. I hope you can enjoy a day at the museum and remember that free admission at the LACMA will be held every holiday Monday. There will be activities from 12:30 to 3:30.

We went on the last free Target day. It was a VERY busy place–if you are looking for a serene museum experience this is not the day for you. HOWEVER, we were going with a toddler, and this was a PERFECT day to go. No one was looking at us funny because our 18 month old was making a little bit of noise. If you want to expose your little kids to art with out people looking down their nose at your toddler for simply being a toddler this is a great day to go!!
