Toy Story 3 & Fun Zone at El Capitan Theatre

I am so glad it is Friday for many reasons. The first being that today is the official opening of Toy Story 3. I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since the first Toy Story was released. I fell in love with the movie the first time I watched it and thanks to my children, I think I can quote almost every line in both Toy Story and Toy Story 2.

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to take the kiddos to a screening of Toy Story 3 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. It was an amazing experience. First off let me just say this… I absolutely love Toy Story 3. We loved it so much we are going to watch it again tomorrow. I loved the storyline and the ending is beautiful!  My kiddos loved every moment of it and it was such a kick to be able to watch them sit still for 90 minutes without even a twitch. They were mesmerized! It was also so much fun to be able to watch it in 3D and in the beautiful El Capitan Theatre.

After we finished watching, we headed over to the Toy Story 3 Fun Zone, which is adjacent to the El Capitan Theatre and is included in the price of admission. The Fun Zone area is a Toy Story fan’s dream. You will be able to meet Buzz and Woody, take part in Rex’s Races, if you are daring take a try at Bullseye’s Bungee Jump, ride the Toy Story Ferris Wheel and so much more!

You can also enjoy Dancing with the Toy’s Show, a live stage show featuring Buzz, Woodie and Jessie. There is also a bounce house, a play area, a fabulous Toy Zone and a craft area. All in all, a place where young and old will have a blast!

Toy Story 3 and the Toy Story Fun Zone will be playing at El Capitan Theatre from June 18 to August 29. Showtimes will be 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 9:30pm.
Admission is $20 for Adults, Matinee is $18, Children are $16 and VIP Admission is $30 and includes popcorn, drink, a reserved seat and no waiting in line.
