If you have little ones that are 5 and under, block out some time this Saturday, April 16th and make your way to Pretend City. The 2nd Annual Good to Go From Head to Toe Wellness Fair will be taking place this Saturday from 10am to 3pm.

This FREE and super informative fair offers free developmental checks which include:

• Dental
• Speech and Language
• Hearing
• Body Mass Index
• Behavioral Development
• Developmental Checkups
• Blood Pressure

In addition to the development screenings there will also be live entertainment, food, activities for the kiddos, face painting  and every child who participates in  all of the screenings will receive a free ticket to Pretend City Children’s Museum with the purchase of an adult admission.

Parking will be available at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater with a free shuttle to the museum.

This is an invaluable service. I have to share that although I consider myself to be a mom” in the know”, I wasn’t really sure what the appropriate age for  developmental milestones  after 18 months of age. I have a degree in behavioral sciences and took every class imaginable and almost missed some delays in my son. Thankfully we caught his delays on time and he is right on track with his peers.  I’m sure there  are many moms and dads reading that might be in my same boat.
