Back to School Day and Shopping Fun

My son on his first day of Pre-K

Yesterday was Back to School Day at our house and both my son and daughter were excited to go back to school after having the summer off. My daughter started first grade and my son started Pre-K. They had a great first day and love their teachers and classrooms.

Back to school usually means one thing, Back to School shopping. This year we did the majority of our shopping at Brea Mall and did it all at once. We hit Gymboree, The Children’s Place, Crazy 8(My new Favorite store) and The Gap.

Crazy 8. One of our new favorite stores!

This year there are some great back to school sale and I kid you not when I say I was able to pick up three pairs of jeans, three pairs of shorts, socks, undies, three polos and three graphic shirts from my sons at the Brea Mall for $100! I think the key to Back to School Shopping is making sure to try a couple of stores. One store might be great to pick up jeans, another for shirts, etc… I was able to find $10 jeans at Crazy 8 and at The Children’s Place. I was able to find a great deal on shorts at Gymbo and a great deal on polo shirts at the Gap.

Some of our goodies.

We love the Brea Mall and it was great to hit up all the sales at the same time.  I was in and out in under two hours and even managed to score an Orange Julius before I left. I can never leave the mall without hitting Jamba Juice or Orange Julius.

You can't go shopping without grabbing yourself a treat!

I love being able to get all of my shopping done at once and when it came to the kids clothes this year it was great to take care of a big chunk of our shopping in one trip!

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. I did receive a gift card to aid in shopping but all of the opinions are my own.
