The LA County Fair is in full swing. I had an opportunity to attend the fair’s food preview and had a great time! To me the The LA Β County Fair is the last hurrah before summer and we always make at least one trip to the fair. The fair runs Wednesday to Sunday and will close it’s doors on Sunday, October 2nd. You have two fun weekends to go out and enjoy everything that the fair has to offer.

There are a few ways you can save when you head to the fair. You can get in for Free on Thursday if you donate a new or gently used. You can also receive $5 admission after 5pm, Wednesday through Friday. All you have to do is head here to download your coupon.

It’s Giveaway time! We’re hosting a combined giveaway from one of my favorite blogging buddies, Becky from HappyHourmom.blogspot.com. Β We have two family four pack of tickets and parking pass Β to giveaway. Just leave a comment letting me know why you want to win and that’s it! Since money has been really tight it would be a great blessing for us as a family to go check out some really cool exhibits and weird (lol) foods that I have heard about. Some good ole fashion fun : )

We missed the O.C. fair this year and would love to take the kids to at least one fair this year. Plus, the food is usually pretty darn good.

Being in nursing school plus working and having a very active 8 year old boy has been challenging. I know it’s only temporary and that it will be worth it but I’m guilty of not spending enough time with my family. This will be an awesome way to take a break not to mention have lots of fun with my guys. Thanks for the chance!

I’ve never been to the LA county fair & would love to go w/ my family. And to be honest, my husband doesn’t like to go out of his comfort zone unless I win a contest, so you can say we don’t go out much.
so winning this would be a family fun day for us!
Fair food, games & rides would be a lot of fun for the entire family!

My sons loves the fair – He asks for it every day – It’s a place he can run and have lots of fun and lots of hands on things to do. It would be awesome if we won and we were able to take the kids.

My daughter class was the only grade in her school (besides 1st) that didn’t go on a fair kids field trip and she was super bummed she didn’t get to see the charks or the neon light demo.

We love the fair! We took Ashley (4 1/2) to Ventura County fair and she had a blast. The last time I took her to LA county fair, she was 2. She melted down so bad when we left…I will never forget it. It was awful. Time for a new memory! =)

I’ve wanted to take my kids to the fair, which I remember with fondness from my growing up years, but all our spare funds right now are going toward helping a friend’s family make it out here from Ohio for desparately needed medical tests at UCLA Medical Center and CHLA this November instead. It would be great to get to take them, since we won’t trade their need for our want.

My son turns 1 on the 30th and daddy hasn’t been able to take much time off for family day trips this last year. This would be a perfect way for us to get some quality family time while spoiling our lil guys with fair food and goodies πŸ™‚

Being the apart of a family of ten kids growing up, the fair is one of the few events my parents would be able to splurge on. I have wonderful memories of those fair days with my siblings and parents. I would love to recreate those now that I’m a mom with a family of my own. Thanks for this opportunity whoever wins them!

As a family we have never been to the L.A. County Fair. We always go to the Orange County Fair to watch the pig races and eat the food. So, I would love to take the family and enjoy some new experiences at the L.A. County Fair πŸ™‚

I would love to take my family to the L.A. County Fair because we’ve never been there. As a stay at home mom, I’m on a tight budget and I want, er, I mean need to take my kids to places in order to avoid boredom implosion and to keep my sanity. My 5 year old daughter LOVES rides and popcorn and my 3 year old son REALLY needs a place to run around and expend his crazy amount of energy! Can you relate? πŸ˜‰

  20. katie says:

we are dressing my toddler as a pig for halloween & she thinks they say “la, la, la” because of a boynton book we have. i’d love to go and show her that in fact they say “oink”! πŸ™‚
