One of the joys of being a parent is introducing our children to activities that we enjoyed when we were kids. Of course, I want my daughter to choose her own path in life, but it never hurts to at least expose her to what I liked doing when I was her age. Ever since our daughter was born, my wife and I could not wait to bring her to the “Big A” for an Angels baseball game. I grew up only a couple miles from Angel Stadium and being able to go to a game as a child is a memory that I will always treasure.
The Angels have a fun event to entertain youngsters that is a true home run. It’s called the “Family Sunday Activities for Kids” program. At every Sunday baseball game that is played at Angel Stadium they set up a section under the right field bleachers just for kids to participate in free crafts, games, and other fun activities. Best of all, there is no additional charge! Just a few of the activities they have are: spin art, a coloring station, video games, airbrush tattoos, and several others. There is enough to keep your young Angel fan busy for at least an inning or two.
