We love Irvine Park and the Irvine Park Railroad. We’ve made so many great memories there as a family. From riding the train many times throughout the year, to attending one of the holiday events including Halloween and Easter to renting a surrey bike a few weeks ago to enjoy a family bike ride on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
On our last visited we rented one of the surrey bikes and rode around the park enjoying the beautiful scenery and trying to count peacocks roaming the grounds. Wheel Fun Rentals have a fleet of surrey, double surrey, deuce coupe and there are a few UK quad bike dealers in case that you would like to ride around the city.
Other bikes available for rent include tandem bikes, cruiser bikes and kid’s bikes. Paddle boats are also available for rent. Love this place! We used to take all of the kindergarten students to the farm they had every spring. What an awesome place!

That park is one of my favorite places around Orange County. I love it because it is so peaceful and my boys love it because of the TRAIN and because they can take their bikes and scooters there and ride around! We have wanted to rent bikes for years but never done it. If we win, we certainly cannot delay it any longer!

What a perfect way to spend a day!
My family of 6 has NEVER been there! My husband is a train conductor, so like most kids, they LOVE trains! My goal has been to do things my kids have NEVER done this summer so the IRVINE PARK RAILROAD would be a great adventure!
We love Irvine Park and I`ve always wanted to try out the rentals!
We would love to spend a day at Irvine Regional Park because unplugging & being outside is what my children love best! They love having mommy & daddy’s full attention in a place that is magical just by being a natural environment. It’s relaxing & stimulating in the same light. My kids love looking for horses & peacocks as we drive the circumference, they love crunching the leaves on the ground, running in the open space, & looking for owls in the trees & sky. We would love & appreciate the tickets to the park to give them a fun new experience & opportunity. thank you so much!

We just live over the hill and are meeting up with college buddies and their families for a picnic today! I always take out of town guests for a fun day with the kids. We’ve done the paddle boats…time to try the bikes!
I would like to spend a day at this park simply because I have three kids under the age of 7 and everyday, they need to burn some energy outdoors! Irvine Park sounds like the perfect place for my kids to have fun and enjoy nature!

We haven’t been to the Irvine Regional Park since Halloween. It is definitely time to go back! We love to get there early and just walk around the lake exploring. The train is a must, and now that my son has discovered the paddle boats we like to do those too.
We went there last year with our daughter who was about 18 months at the time. One of the best days we’ve ever had! I would love to go back and do it again!!

You know, we’ve only ever gone to IRP with groups and preschool, never just ourselves! Surprisingly, we’ve never taken our train mad son on the train as its never been part of the group activities. This needs correcting.
Id love the opportunity to share this awesome daytrip with my family! I have many fond memories of Irvine park from my own childhood. of course I had to share the wonder of this rare gem of the oc with my 2 kiddos. We visited the zoo but left before seeing it all because of the meltdown my beautiful then 2 year old decided to inflict on the world haha. We have yet to return & finish experiencing all the park has to offer. It would be so fun to take my husband as well who normally misses out on the day trips while he works. 🙂
