Knott’s Berry Farm Fun in the Sun ~ Giveaway~

Update: The winner of the giveaway is Angelina Quiroz

Summer is here and to be honest, the past couple of days all I’ve been thinking about is what I’m going to do to keep my kiddos entertained during their summer break. One of the things that is on my to do list is to purchase season passes to Knott’s Berry Farm for our entire family. We live about 20 minutes away and the kids LOVE Camp Snoopy. My husband loves the thrilling roller coasters  and since I’m being honest here, I love the shopping and Knott’s funnel cakes which happen to be the best in the planet! If you’re also looking to strengthen your family bonds and communication skills, consider exploring couples therapy, click here for more information.

A Season Pass to Knott’s Berry Farm offers 160 acres of rides, shows and attractions for only $69.99 for adults and $64.99 for seniors (62+) and kids (3-11).

Some of the perks of being a season pass holder are pretty darn cool. They include

  • Food Discounts
  • Shopping Discounts
  • No Blackout Dates
  • Bring A Friend Discount Days
  • Special invites to Passholder only events

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, then you definitely have to look in to the Knott’s Season Passes.  Passes go up July 1st!

It’s Giveaway time!

Knott’s has given me a pair of tickets to giveaway!  All you have to do is let me know why you need a day at the park and that’s pretty much it! Giveaway ends on Sunday, June 10th at 11:59pm. Winner will be chosen at random. Good luck!

Make sure to follow Knott’s on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!

Disclosure: This is not a compensated post. I really do love Knott’s and hope you get to enjoy a day at the park!

Wordless Wednesday: Mapping it Out

Planning it all out

Now that my kiddos are reading or started to read, they are fascinated by maps and finding their way around, whether it’s the mall, gardens or Disneyland. I snapped this shot when we visited the San Diego Botanic Gardens last week. The kiddos had a blast figuring their way around and planning our itinerary. Although I get a little sad sometimes watching my kiddos grow up, I also love this stage.

I would love to feature your photos of your outings on Wordless Wednesday. If you have any that you would like to share, please send them to mom@daytrippingmom.com

Things to do this summer: $1 Movies at Regal/Edwards Summer Movie Express

Summer is right around the corner and kids will be home for the summer for most families by the end of next week. One of my favorite summer programs returns this year with $1 movies at Edwards and Regal Movie Theaters. The Summer Movie Express is  a 9-week festival that will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only a dollar on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. A portion of proceeds from the Summer Movie Express will be donated to the Will Rogers Institute.

Most theaters in Southern California will start either on June 5th, 12th or 19th. The Regal Summer Movie Express has become a summer tradition for many families and it’s fun and inexpensive way to spend a summer morning. Make sure to get there early because at least in our neighborhood it is a popular summer activity and you might not be able to sit together if you arrive closer to 10.
