Summer is always so fun!
Summer is unofficially over. We managed to squeeze in one last beach trip of the season. We visited the Oceanside Harbor Beach for the 1st time and all I can say is that this might be our new favorite beach. Beach close parking, a cute harbor area with cute little restaurants(you have to try Harbor Fish and Chips- the BEST fish and chips I have ever had!!) and shops. We had a great time and summer season. I’m already dreaming of next year.
Building a castle in the sand
We love heading to the beach whenever we can. I love it because a day at the beach is so simple. Pack a lunch, sunscreen, some beach toys and you’re in for a great day. I think I could have stayed watching my daughter for hours as she built a sand castle. I hope she never stops building,dreaming, or loving that blue Pacific Ocean.
Last week we headed to Laguna Beach to help celebrate my niece’s 17th birthday. We booked a room at the Pacific Edge Hotel , right on the water. We had a great time and an even better time, when we decided to ask for an upgrade in room and were put in a beachfront suite right above the water. All you have to do is ask and sometimes pay a little extra, and you will be in for a treat! I’ll share more about that on a later post this week.
