Hi! My name is Angie and I blog over at jonesing2create.com. I’m the type of mom who sees parenthood as an excellent excuse to act like a kid. In a few years my kids will find me terribly embarrassing, but until then I plan on having fun!
On my blog many of my posts focus on ways to combine my passion for my children with my crafting addiction. One of my favorite ways to do this is with birthday parties! I go a little bit nuts, but I have a blast. But throwing an over-the-top birthday party doesn’t always have to be that hard or expensive. For example, one of my favorite party  Birthday Favors is crazy easy and super cheap to do. Custom party shirts! Why just decorate the house when you can decorate the kids too!?! And the kids and parents love them. Who doesn’t love a free shirt? T-shirts have become such a staple at my parties that I am afraid the kids would mutiny if I didn’t have them!

My favorite way to do them is by using heat transfer vinyl. It is easy to iron them on and the vinyl is fairly inexpensive. If you don’t have a vinyl cutter, there are lots of companies online that will do it for you. The vinyl looks super professional and will last through multiple washes. If you use the packs of white Hanes t-shirts you can buy at the store, the shirts only cost about $2 each to make.
