Doozers Giveaway!

Those of us that grew up with Fraggle Rock remember the industrious little Doozers. Well they now have their own cartoon series for a whole new generation to enjoy.  Doozers is the first Hulu Original for kids! The CGI animated preschool series comes from The Jim Henson Company and DHX Media (Yo Gabba Gabba, SuperWHY!). There are fifty two episodes of the “Doozers” now available on Hulu at http://hulu.tv/i7M.

The new series focuses on four Doozers kids, a team of best friends who live in Doozer Creek, a fantastical, modern, and eco-friendly community. Dubbed “the Pod Squad,” Spike, Molly Bolt, Flex, and Daisy Wheel bounce from one fabulous kid adventure to the next, engaging in exciting projects and having a blast playing together.  The Pod Squad loves to DESIGN, CREATE, and INNOVATE. These Doozers are DOERS – they put their ideas into action! If that sounds like work, think again! The Doozer kids are a creative, active bunch and will likely inspire your little ones to be the same way. I love any show that inspires kids to get and do stuff. Put the electronics away and go build a fort or go on an adventure hike!

In addition to the excitement of this new series, we are also giving away one (1) 3-month Hulu Plus Gift Subscription!  Leave a comment about the most creative activity you and your family have done this Spring.  Contest ends Monday, May 5th at 11:59 PM. Prizing valued at $23.97. Open to US residents only. The Hulu Plus gift subscription has no expiration date.  You can watch the show now on Hulu at http://hulu.tv/i7M.

STAR just opened a preschool on Robertson! because my older kids have so much fun in their after school program with LEGO Engineering and Rock STAR, I couldn’t wait to sign my baby up for their preschool! There is a garden, and music and stem classes!!

I highly recommend it to anyone in the area who wants a stem ed as soon as possible for their baby’s first classroom! http://www.preschool.starinc.org

We have been to a few kid musicals. Does that count? LOL! Pretty creative for my three year old.

We went strawberry picking at a local farm and then drew pictures of strawberries once we got home.

I took my 6 year old daughter to an engineering event at UCR and she learned how to build a hovercraft and a balloon racecar, make homemade slime and lip gloss, ran through “outer space”, saw the multiple colors in the sun using special solar sunglasses, and even made ice cream using liquid nitrogen! Plus she earned a girl scout patch for participating!

the most creative thing we have done lately is to have a theme of the week and do different activities about that once a day.
