The Mission Inn Festival of Lights

There is a chill in the air and although it is hard to believe, the holidays are right around the corner.

This is the time to make amazing memories with our families and I want to share with you a fun and free event taking place in Riverside that is sure to create many fun holiday memories with your families.

You can also rent a venue on this website if you are starting film making, professional photography or any art. This can grant you the opportunity to get more exposure and attract customers and famous companies that can help you grow more in the industry.

The Mission Inn and Spa in Riverside is home to the Festival of Lights. More than 4 million (Yes, Million!) lights transform this beautiful hotel into a holiday wonderland. The festival features nightly live entertainment, “fresh snow”, and even appearances by Santa and his reindeer. You can even ride around a horse drawn carriage.

The Festival of Lights runs from November 27th, 2015 to January 6th, 2016. For additional info head here.

Christmas Train at Irvine Park Railroad and Giveaway!

One of my family’s favorite traditions is grabbing our coats and heading to Irvine Park Railroad to ride the Christmas train to visit Santa. Our Santa pictures for the past few years have come from our train ride to the North Pole. We’ve done this since our kiddos were itty bitty and it is something we look forward to every single year. We love bundling up and making it a special night.

You’ll hop aboard the train for a fun ride to the “North Pole”, where you will be able to meet Santa and take pictures. Make sure to remember to bring your camera, to capture your little ones with Santa.

We usually head to the park early to partake in the many fun activities, which include, cookie decorating, ice fishing, and story time with Mrs. Clause. We usually head there early to try to avoid waiting in line. This year like last year you can purchase your tickets in advance online for a specific time and avoid a long wait. The kiddos will be having some time off from school and I’m always on the lookout for some fun activities and outings. We have a few things on our winter bucket list and outdoor ice skating is one on our list.
