If you’re looking for something fun and free to do with the family, you won’t want to miss the OC Fair Imaginology, Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead. This fun and free yearly event, will take place on April 15-17. The free event features family-friendly STEAM related exhibits and hands on experiences.
Some of the featured activities include:
- Learn how to cast a fishing line with the California Department of Fish & Wildlife’s Fishing in the City.
- Learn the art of origami paper folding at Origami for Fun by OrigamiUSA.
- Get your hands dirty and mold simple mounds of clay into beautiful pieces of art at the Clay Play activity with the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA)
- Learn why rockets fly and then build and launch your own paper rocket with AIAA OC Rocketry
- Learn video game programming and website development with CoderDojo’s hands-on activities based on age and expertise.
- Learn to control a robot and compete against other participants at MathMania Robotics. Saturday only.
Admission to Imaginology is free for all ages. Parking is free on Friday, April 15th and $8 on Saturday and Sunday.
