We would love to take or kids to the Irish Festival to celebrate our heritage. The thing I like most about St Patrick's day is the creative ways people find to use green (green hair, green beer I have even seen a dog died green):)

I would love to go to teach my child about St. Patrick's Day! He is so excited about it (because his preschool teacher talks about it) but has no idea what it's about!

I would LOVE to take my family to this fair! It sounds like the perfect place for my children to be wild and have a little fun, plus I love the music. My favorite thing about St. Patrick's day is serving green food because my children will eat anything green on St. Patty's!

I would love to take my son. He keeps saying, "But your Irish, how come we don't do more for St. Patrick's Day?" Ummm, eating corned beef isn't enough?

I would love for my kids to learn more about their Irish heritage. To see an Irish faire would be a wonderful hands on experience. My favorite thing about St. Patrick's Day is the yummy corned beef and cabbage.

I would love to share St. Patrick's Day with my kids in this way. They have a Polish last name, but their mom is Irish through and through! I enjoy St. Patrick's Day, because it is a holiday that is all about fun and includes everyone. Anyone can be Irish on St. Patrick's Day and enjoy the spirit and luck of the culture.

My family and I would love to go to the Irish festival! Why? Because we are Irish through and through. My sons names are Aedyn James and Connor Patrick. How much more Irish can you get than that? Honestly, we want our children to experience as many cultures as possible.

I would love to take my family! My 3 year old loves music and enjoys all the sites. I also love that you post these fun events. It is nice to know all the free, and fun events so close to home. Thanks!

  11. Carebear says:

I have not one bit of Irish in me and neither does my hubby…SO why do we want to go?

To be honest, we have two small kids and LOVE to get out of the house. We have found that after having kids, we have experienced so many different things that we may not have otherwised done without the kiddies.

We went to Ireland last summer and have decided we are going back. There's no place like Ireland! We actually "miss" it. We figured going to the festival will make us feel we aren't that far away from Ireland. Celebrating St. Patrick's Day will keep us closer to the most amazing country in the World!

We'd also love to go to the Irish Festival! My husband and I both are both of Irish heritage and try to teach our twins about our ancestry everyday. Our Irish pride shines! We got married on St. Patrick's Day, 2007 and our wedding had an Irish theme. We honeymooned in Boston and had a great time exploring all the Irish pubs and the Irish Heritage Trail.

My favorite thing about St. Patrick's Day is the comradery felt by all. The beer, music and party atmosphere just brings everyone together. It's extra special for us to celebrate our heritage, our future and our love for each other on this day!

  14. Paula says:

My daughter has recently started taking Irish Dance lessons and is in love with all things Irish. We would love to go to the Festival!

  15. Jhona says:

My husband & I would like to take our preschooler daughter to teach her about St. Patrick's Day and we also would like to try the famous Irish Corned Beef Sandwich. :]

  16. Mom2pixies says:

Our girls have been learning about our Irish heritage and traditions a little bit every year, and this year's Irish Fair & Music Festival would be the PERFECT opportunity for them to have some fun and learn so much about their ancestors and where they came from!

  17. Kim says:

Oh I would love these tickets! My mom and grandparents are coming into town from Chicago tomorrow for our newborn baby's baptism this weekend. We were looking for something else to do and my grandparents are both of Irish ancestry. In fact they went out to vacation there for the first time last year. I would love to treat them to this festival!! My favorite thing about St. Patty's day is my dad's corned beef and cabbage dinner. LOVE that stuff! Thanks 🙂

  18. Monica says:

I would love the opportunity to expose ourselves and my daughter to a broader perspective on a different culture, one beyond what many think of St. Patricks Day. There is so much more to learn and the history behind it and would love the opportunity.

  19. NotAnMD says:

My kids are half Irish and half Mexican, but unfortunately have very little exposure to their Irish heritage. I would love to be able to introduce them to it and I'm sure it would thrill the hubby as well.

  20. Lindsay says:

I'd love to see some Irish dancing exhibits – I've always been tres impressed with how fast their feet are. And the best thing about St Patrick's Day is definitely the foods: corned beef and cabbage, colcannon, or a hearty Irish stew , and plenty of Guinness to wash it down. Yum!

  21. Heidi (Todd) Broberg says:

I am Irish and Scottish and my mom would ALWAYS put green dye in our milk, breakfast, lunch and dinner. IT was so fun its a tradition I have carried on with my little ones…

And who doesnt need a little luck o'the Irish.
